John "A.d.i.d.a.m." Littlejohn is a violinist/emcee whose love and knowledge of different music forms has given him a unique style and flavor. He blends classical music with hip-hop, Middle-Eastern, jazz, gospel, and Latin music which creates a distinctive new sound known as "Blaze."

"A.d.i.d.a.m.," which is an acronym for "All Day I Dream About Music," has always heard music. As a child he would hum constantly and make up songs to the rhythm created by the bumps in the road as his mother drove around the city. By society's standards, he was not supposed to be a violinist. His family was financially poor, no one he knew played/listened to classical music, and he didn't begin when he was a toddler. He didn't even know what "orchestra" was when he signed up for it in the sixth grade, and when selecting instruments violin was not his first choice; but since he began playing he hasn't been able to stop.

Since then, he has been blessed to live a life full of music. John is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory where he completed a Master of Music degree (2002) and a Graduate Performance Diploma (2004) in violin performance with Herbert Greenberg, after completing a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Michigan (2000). His former teachers include Anthony Elliott, Stephen Shipps, Andrew Jennings, Ann Schoelles, and Yizhak Schotten (viola). He has served as the concertmaster of the Newark Symphony, Baltimore Sinfonietta, and Darin Atwater’s Soulful Symphony and has been a member of numerous orchestras and ensembles including the Baltimore Opera Orchestra. As a soloist he has performed with orchestras and given recitals throughout North America and Europe.

He is currently a member of "Psalm Fresh" and "Infinitus" (see links above), director of the Calvary Worship Centre Gospel Choir, and Executive Director of the "Thrive City String Academy," an outreach summer music camp for inner-city music students. He resides in the greater Vancouver (BC) area with his wife and family.
